Invest Madhya Pradesh 2025, held from February 24-25, 2025 Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

The Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India (EU Chambers) participated at the 8th Invest MP- Global Investors Summit 2025. The Summit was organised by the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Government of Madhya Pradesh from 24 to 25th February 2025 at the Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The Summit saw an active participation of Companies not only from India but also from all over the world.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the summit, emphasizing India’s economic potential and highlighting initiatives like the ₹45,000 crore Ken-Betwa River Interlinking Project, aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and water management in the state.

Major Corporate Commitments

  • Adani Group: Announced investments totaling ₹2.10 lakh crore, including projects in mining and the establishment of a propellant project in Shivpuri, expected to generate employment for 3,500 individuals.
  • Reliance Industries: Plans to invest in renewable gas and compressed biogas projects, initially creating 2,000 jobs in rural areas.
  • Arvind Group: Committed ₹800 crore to technical textiles, expected to generate employment opportunities.

Some of the companies were already having business presence in India and others were exploring the appropriate opportunities.  Their intention to visit Madhya Pradesh was to explore the opportunities in the State of Madhya Pradesh and government support in doing business.

The delegates attended the inaugural session and various thematic sessions. The delegates found the thematic sessions very meaningful and informative which gave the holistic approach to know about the various opportunities in various sectors in the State of Madhya Pradesh. They met various representatives from government of the  Madhya Pradesh Government and business people.

Meeting with Hon’ble Chief Minister

The EU delegates had a very brief interaction with Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr Mohan Yadav.

The Chief Minister extended a welcome to the delegates and invited them to explore the various opportunities which the State of Madhya Pradesh

The Director also met with the Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain to discuss EU Chambers’ initiatives and request facilitation for EU businesses in Madhya Pradesh.
