Mr. K C Mehra served as the Chairman of SKF Bearings India Ltd. He began his career at Tata Steel and  Mr. Mehra was Deputy Chairman and Managing Director for Forbes Group. Mr. Mehra represented India at ILO meetings on steel and technology and was a member of the joint consultative committee on steel and the joint bi-partite committee on coal (JBCCI). He was also a Director of the UP State Minerals DevelopmentCorporation. In his early years, he was the Honorary Consul of Sweden for many years. He is on the executive committees of several other professional organizations. Apart from his mentioned positions he has been appointed by the Govt. of India on the Government Council of VV Giri, National Labour Institute. Currently, he is an Advisor of Eminence (Corporate Initiatives) American Society for Quality.
