Mr. S. K Saraf established Technocraft Industries (India) Ltd. in 1972 after completion of B. Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. Under Mr. Saraf’s leadership The Technocraft Group has grown into a multi-product and multi-national corporate having manufacturing facilities in Murbad, District Thane, Maharashtra spread over approximately 100 acres of land with approximately 200,000 sq. meter manufacturing buildings, employing nearly 3000 workmen, skilled technicians, engineers and staff. The group runs a state-of-the-art Vocational Training Centre and has established overseas offices in UK, Poland, Hungary, Australia, China and USA.

Mr. Saraf had taken over as the President of the Council of EU India Chambers of Commerce in India for the year 2011-12. He was also the President for Confederation of Exporting Units (CEU) and Indo-Romanian Chamber of Commerce. In the past he has served as the Vice President & Chairman of Federation of Indian Export Organizations (WR) and Vice Chairman of Engineering Export Promotion Council (WR). He is a Member of the Managing Committee at Bombay Textile Research Association (BTRA), Mill Owners’ Association, Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI).
