Dr. Joseph Shields is an experienced corporate leader with demonstrated success in driving growth and operational excellence in existing businesses and building businesses for the future by predicting business trends, building future competencies along the value chain, driving digital transformation, designing organizations for VUCA environments and delivering on profitability and operational metrics.

He is passionate about creating business value at the intersection of customer, technology and environmental change with an undiluted focus on governance, people, risks and numbers. As a Board Observer and working closely with various CEOs and Chairmen he has delivered results and built leaders for large global corporations and startFup businesses in sectors like Energy, Consumer, Healthcare, Transportation and Technology.

He is a PhD in Corporate Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a strong believer in process driven performance. He was Head of Strategy for companies like L&T Infotech, IBM India, GMR International and Philips Electronics for South Asia. He was also the Head of Technology Strategy & Innovation Management at Infosys.

He is currently engaged with various clients including the Tata Group in the areas of Strategy & Strategic Thinking. He has deployed developed and executed strategies using Blue Ocean Strategies, Design Thinking, Balanced Scorecard, Bell Mason Methodology in various companies.
