Mr. Sharan has been a focussed & rounded banker, with over 33 years of professional experience with India’s largest lender, having expertise in Financing Large & Mid Corporates, and exhaustive experience in Retail Banking, Human Resource Management, Corporate Planning & Restructuring. After having shouldered the responsibility of managing substantial business in corporate Finance segment of SBI with overall responsibility of improving the portfolio quality index and maximising income from these relationships. Besides, marketing of new business by the Branches under his control, all aspects of corporate finance like Pre sanction, Post sanction, dealing with special mention accounts and resolution of NPA loan accounts were supervised by him. During the year ended 31.03.2018, he had supervised and managed loan asset portfolio of USD 7 billion spread over various industry segments like Diamond, Gems and Jewellery, NBFC, Textile, Pharmaceutical, Shipping, Infrastructure sector, renewable energy etc. Since 2014 to 2018, he has dealt with the large corporates of Mumbai region as Regional Head of Corporate Client Group Regional Finance outfit of SBI. In SBI he has held various assignments ranging from Planning to HR to extending large corporate credit in Eastern and Western part of the country.

Since 2014 to 2018, he has dealt with large Corporates of Mumbai region of Corporate Client Group of SBI. As a true professional, Mr. Sharan has been able to guide and supervise business through the operating units (Specialised Credit Intensive Branches headed by Dy. General managers) working under him to achieve desired results in toppling and Income growth of Mumbai region through customs service skill and positive and proactive approach. He has the ability to work in fast paced environment and see strict deadlines.

In the current role as CEO of financial services company, he has the responsibilities of planning and driving the business in corporate advisory services focussed on merchant and Investment banking, Syndication advisory and Resolution advisory.
