Mr. Pratap Bhogilal hailed from a family of highly successful diamond merchants, his father had envisaged a different role for him. Mr. Bhogilal made his presence felt in more challenging tasks like raising Batliboi & Company to a position of preeminence in the machine tools and related businesses. He also turned Shree Ram Mills into the most modern, best-run and the most profitable mill in Mumbai in the 1960s as its Managing Director.
