Sujan Roy is the Head- SAARC, International Operations, Ashok Leyland. He was the Head of International Business for Passenger Vehicles, Tata Motors. Mr. Roy has nearly 3 decades of auto sales, marketing and product experience inIndia and abroad.
He has served in various senior Marketing and Product related roles at Volkswagen, Honda, Mahindra, Mercedes and Lexus. With the unprecedented pandemic, he has acquired a keen interest in emergency health equipment. He is part of the core team spearheading the Tata Group’s initiatives for national self-reliance in critical medical care equipment.
He was awarded the prestigious Tata Motors ACES Award from the MD of Tata Motors. He was also chosen Marketing Professional of the Year 2018 by the Asian Consumer Engagement Forum. He has also won numerous marketing awards including the EFFIES, CMO Asia and ICMA. He has represented India and Oman in international competitions for oratory under the aegis of Toastmasters International, winning podium positions on several occasions. He was also chosen the contributor of the year by Times of Oman.
With a keen interest in educational initiatives, Sujan takes personal interest in and is on the advisory panel of Poornima University, Jaipur and BIMSTEC, NOIDA. He also chairs the Automobile Committee for The Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India. He is a voracious reader, frequent blogger, passionate about technology, poetry and a lover of art and music.
He is married and lives in Mumbai with his wife and two daughters.
